Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our retail team in Malta. The successful candidate will process customer transactions accurately, provide excellent customer service, and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries.
- Maintain an accurate cash float and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with product displays, restocking, and inventory tasks when required.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Follow company cash-handling and security procedures.
- Support the store team during busy periods.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Assistant, or in customer service is preferred.
- Good English communication skills (pre-departure English course certificate is an advantage).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
